Sweet Rocket (Hesperis matronalis) underplanted with a hardy orchid, Dactylorrhiza foliosa. This orchid has been available in the nursery trade for many years and is easy to establish and grow as a garden plant. Sweet Rocket is an easy to grow biennial with scented flowers. It will seed itself around. If you are very lucky, Orange Tip butterflies will breed on it, as this is a food plant for their caterpillars. © Marc Carlton 2006
